Booking Policy

The current Maison Élise website is a demonstration. It creates no real appointment, takes no payment and sends no personal details.

Before you book

A real booking page should show the selected service, estimated duration, price or starting price, consultation requirements, any deposit/card guarantee, and cancellation terms.

Consultations

If you are unsure which service to choose, start with a consultation. Significant colour changes, corrective colour, major restyles or services where hair history matters may require consultation before the final plan, timing and price are confirmed.

A consultation clarifies the desired result, hair history, maintenance expectations and likely cost. It does not guarantee that every requested result can safely be achieved in one visit.

Prices and quotes

Describe prices accurately as fixed, "from", or estimated. If price depends on length, density, condition, product use, complexity or extra time, explain this before additional work begins. If the plan materially changes, the client should agree to the revised service and price before proceeding.

Appointment times

Please arrive at the requested time. If you expect to be late, contact the salon. A late arrival may require the service to be shortened, changed or rescheduled. A real salon should insert its actual late-arrival rule.

Deposits and card guarantees

The demo takes no deposit and stores no card. A production policy should state the deposit amount, when required, how applied, when refundable/transferable and what happens after late cancellation or non-attendance.

Confirmation and reminders

A real appointment should only be treated as confirmed when the salon or booking provider has actually issued confirmation. Reminders are a courtesy.

Changes by the salon

If the salon must change an appointment, it should contact the client promptly and offer an appropriate alternative. Deposit/prepayment treatment remains subject to the booking agreement and applicable law.

Consumer rights

Nothing here removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
