Accessibility Statement
Maison Élise Hair Atelier — demonstration website
Last updated:
We want this demonstration to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
Current accessibility features
The supplied build includes semantic content, keyboard-accessible navigation, skip links, focus behaviour, alternative text for meaningful images, a motion control, reduced-motion support, a useful static experience when motion is reduced, a no-JavaScript fallback for core content, and responsive layouts.
Motion
The homepage uses scroll-driven visual effects. Visitors can use the Motion control and the site is designed to respect reduced-motion preferences. Essential information should remain understandable without animation.
Images
Meaningful images should have useful alternative text. Decorative imagery should not create unnecessary repetition for assistive technology.
Production review still recommended
Before a real launch, complete real Safari/iPhone testing, keyboard-only review, VoiceOver or equivalent screen-reader review, 200% zoom/reflow testing, final colour-contrast checks, and form error/status-message review if real forms are introduced.
Assistance and feedback
Because Maison Élise is fictional, there is no salon accessibility contact. Questions about the demonstration can be directed to DigiThat.
A real salon should replace this with a practical contact method for accessibility assistance and feedback.
The aim is to remove genuine barriers, not merely publish a statement.
